Based upon the examination of the Petitions filed by American Keg Company LLC (the petitioner) and relevant laws and regulations, on October 16, the Department of Commerce published the initiation of the Less-Than-Fair Value Investigation and Countervailing Duty Investigation in Federal Register on Refillable Stainless Steel Kegs from the People’s Republic of China. The period of investigation for CVD investigation is January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017, and for AD investigation is the POI is January 1, 2018, through June 30, 2018.
The merchandise covered by these investigations are currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under subheadings 7310.10.0010, 7310.00.0050, 7310.29.0025, and 7310.29.0050.
